I was all set to give you an eighties new wave song, but keeping with the gopher theme is this old cartoon I remember. Forgive the political incorrectness. They didn't care in 1962.
And just to make sure there is some knitting content, I finished these funky rainbow socks. They are headed to the Christmas gift pile.

hi! i hate those varmints! a friend just told me about this trick-it's worth a try. first rub garlic on your hands-to cover your scent. then take the cheap instant scallop potatoes(without the cheesy stuff-just the dried potatoes) and stuff them deep in the holes. they eat and it swells in their bellies and kills them.
your socks are amazing-i wondered if you have trouble with handknit socks wearing out real quik? mine do. so, now i'm hesitant.
