Absorbed with the Lace

This Frosted Fern has reeled me in hook, line and sinker. I can't wait for my solo moments when I can work on it. I am near the end but I have a gigundo mistake that involves ripping three rows out because I misinterpreted the instructions. It looks like a blob right now but that will be fixed with blocking.

We did a day trip to South Padre Island over MLK weedend. For some reason they have a fiberglass obsession down there. Here's what we saw:

This is my favorite. It reeks of Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Gotta go bake a cake. Will has turned sixteen, WOW!

Happy birthday Will! May you play many happy games of Mario Bros. this year. :)

Also, the fiberglass dinosaurs are AWESOME!

With a 5 and 8 year old crazy over dinosaurs and fish, I think we need to keep Padre in mind. (I've always thought it the land of debauchery, a throw back to my college days . . .)
