Tidying Things Up

Before I plunge into my new stuff I figured I had better tie up some loose ends and finish up the ongoing projects. The plum hoodie was barely complete when I wore it last. It needed some fine tuning so let me show you what was done. The edge was a little wobbly so I had to figure out how to stabilize it. I tried finding some type of folkloric style ribbon but failed. I ended up finding a matching soutache braid that was firm enough to control the wobble but was flexible enough to follow the curves of the neckline. It worked. Then I attached the nordic clasps. I thought two was necessary but then out of laziness, decided one was enough. I can always add another later on, if needed.

I am still cranking out the Katherine child's scarf. I tried to work on it during a Girl Scout cookie booth on Saturday. But I really need to concentrate and focus. What an insane idea.
The first new project will be a pair of Jojoland socks on my new Hiya Hiya needles. How could resist with such goofy names? Very Oompa Loompa if you ask me. Later dudes.
