Completed Lace Dream Wrap

Jerry was busy with the oil spill and working extra long hours (and getting beat up by the media). It was rough on everyone and my kids (two of them are autistic) had a hard time understanding what happened and why we cancelled their camping trip.

I kept myself busy by finishing my lace dream wrap and by angering a Ravelry Bay Area Knitters group by calling them "Whiners". I'm over it, I think.

Don't mind the palm tree growing out of my head, Katherine was my photographer!

I love this wrap. I think the scalloped hem is a great detail. I am starting to love rectangular shawls because they are so easy to wear and you don't get a triangle accentuating your ass. I still love Evelyn A Clark's designs (I made her flower basket shawl four times) but the rectangles are much more manageable.

I am now ready to get back to my sock knitting marathon. It's one of my yearly traditions and I always get down to the wire.
Below is a skein ready for a pair of waving lace socks (it's my favorite this year!). Knit onward!
