It is time for Stitches West 2008 Registration. I planned and plotted my classes out. I told the kids they could pull clothes out of the laundry hamper because I was too busy to help them search for clean jeans in the basement. I hope that isn't poor parenting. When the clock struck 9:00 am central time zone, I dialed several times until I could get through to XRX to get the classes I wanted. When it comes to Stitches events, I lose total composure and become this aggressive animal. The scary part is that I am not alone in this behavior. There's a great bunch of us knitting freaks. Hopefully when I get my confirmation, everything will be exactly as I planned. Now I must take the yarn diet oath and really start practicing the Knit From Your Stash motto. Wish me luck on that one.
Here is a photo of the ever growing Irish Hiking Scarf.
And here's Darla's belly. As soon as you start talking to her in a baby talk doggy voice, she immediately flips over for a belly rub. I love her!
