Ready for the Magic

This piece is done and ready to block. I love how blocking changes lace pieces. They get definition and come to life before your eyes. I can't wait to see how it comes out. Also- I've got to go through the bead bin (another black hole in this house) to see if there are any suitable beads to trim this beast.

Next on the queue:

This is the murkiest dye job I have ever done. It has a DOS (that's depth of shade) of 3 and is pretty darn dark. It goes from a dark green/ blue, to navy, to a rather rich violet. I used that fibonacci math formula to get three lengths for dyeing the blank. No fiesta stripes this time, just dark merging color that is hopefully easy on the eyes.
