Well I had to scrap the pinkish picot sock made of Opal. It just wasn't working for me so it gone back to the frog pond for a good long dip. Now the fiesta stripes are progressing nicely and will become part of the holiday gift pile. A big sigh of relief- I was beginning to think something was wrong with me (knittingwise).
This is half of one fin. It's very muppety (new word!). I had so much trouble with slippage and skipped stitches on my sewing machine that I ended up using my girls' machine. Santa got them a beginner Singer machine last year. It handles the spandex, sparkles, and lycra better than my old Viking machine.
