Good Things

While Jerry's parents were here, I caved and bought myself some yarn for a pullover. The planned pullover is called 'Eris' and I found it on The Girl From Auntie website (she is the designer of the fabulous Rogue hoodie that's all over the knitting internet).



The wool is from Briggs and Little and the color is Mulberry. I love the dark murkiness (almost a raisin color). I hope the cabling will show up. So much for my yarn diet.



To completely contradict my love of dark murky colors, I dyed up some sock blanks in my typical loud colors. I cannot get enough polar red and violet when it comes to footwear. Once knitted up, they will end up in my gift stash. I have to get cracking on the gifts (after my periwinkle wrap gets done).
